As president of the International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT), I am delighted to invite you to participate in the 7th International Conference to be held in Porto de Galinhas - Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, from November 8-12, 2015.  

 

The IOJT was created in 2002 in a conference held in Jerusalem, in order to promote the rule of law by supporting the work of judicial training institutes around the world. IOJT facilitates cooperation and the exchange of information and knowledge among its member-institutes.

IOJT has to date 120 members from 70 countries.

 

Since 2002, five successful conferences have been held in: Ottawa (2004); Barcelona (2007); Sydney (2009); Bordeaux (2011), and Washington (2013). I am certain that the next conference, in Recife, will be another excellent opportunity to learn from one another, to share innovative approaches, and to strengthen the network of judicial educators, experts, and other leaders in the field.

 

I look forward to welcome you and meet you in the resort of Porto de Galinhas, Recife, on the Brazilian spring 2015.

As Director of the National School for Training and Advanced Jurisprudence, Minister Sálvio de Figueiredo Teixeira (ENFAM), associated with the International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT), I invite all who believe in judicial education as a way of promoting justice and the rule of law, to explore the various topics that will be presented there.
